Catelynn Lowell reveals she suffered a miscarriage in an emotional post

Teen Mom OG star Catelynn Lowell is opening up on a particularly heartbreaking experience.

As reported by E! News, the 28-year-old reality star took to Twitter today to share with her fans that she was pregnant and sadly lost the baby. Cate is married to Tyler Baltierra, and the two have had three children together: Five-year-old Novalee Reign Baltierra, one-year-old Vaeda Luma Baltierra, and of course 11-year-old Carolyn Elizabeth Davis, who they put up for adoption when she was born.

In her emotional message on social media, Catelynn explained that she was excited to share the news that she was expecting another baby with her fans, and that she decided to reveal that she had a miscarriage to, “let you know you are not alone.” The Michigan native stressed that she is opening up on her experience to help those who might be going through the same thing.

In the link that Catelynn shared in her tweet, she and Tyler opened up even more to Champion Daily on the loss of the pregnancy. According to the famous couple, they found out they were going to have another baby a few days before Thanksgiving. They decided not to let their daughter Nova know yet, as they wanted to wait it out.

Unfortunately on Thanksgiving, Catelynn suffered a miscarriage. She recalled the tragic incident, saying:

"On thanksgiving 2020 I started bleeding. No matter what, I believe that when a woman sees a positive test you automatically start getting excited… all of that came crashing down. We lost the baby. I was overwhelmed by sadness and felt my emotions."

Fans of the MTV star will know that sadly this is not her first miscarriage. While reflecting on her past experience, Cate also added, “I can tell that the mental health work I’ve done has had a huge impact because I wasn’t overcome by anxiety but I was just sad.”

We’re incredibly sad for Cate and Tyler and are hope they use each other, along with their friends and family, as support in this tough time. We know they have the strength to get through it.
