Wonder Woman is back, DC fans! The highly-anticipated sequel is right around the corner and the current question is, where and when can we watch it when it finally drops?

More on that in a second.

As reported in Variety, the highly-buzzed about movie was initially expected to be one of the biggest films to drop in 2020. For the most part, it still is. As the publication notes, the $200 million-budgeted movie was originally scheduled to hit theaters over the summer. However, COVID-19 related delays forced them to come up with a new release plan for the film, if it was still going to play in theaters.

And finally, it’s all about to happen.

Flash forward to winter of 2020, and Wonder Woman: 1984 is set to make its highly-anticipated movie debut on HBO Max and in theaters at the same time. So without further ado, here’s what we know about where and when we can watch the upcoming DC movie.

When and where to watch Wonder Woman: 1984

Warner Bros. has officially announced that their new DC movie will finally be streamable on Christmas Day, December 25, via HBO Max at 3:00 a.m. ET. On top of that, it will also make its big screen debut in theaters on the same day. What a holiday treat, right?

As noted in Variety, the follow-up will pick up where the last story seemingly left off, with Gal Gadot’s, “Amazonian warrior during the Cold War as she battles two formidable foes — Maxwell Lord (Pedro Pascal) and Cheetah (Kristen Wiig) — while reuniting with her past love, Steve Trevor (Chris Pine).”

Other notable cast members for the sequel include Robin Wright and Connie Nielsen.
