Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey

If you like Christmas movies and musicals then this is the movie for you. This film centers around Jeronicus Jangle, an inventor and toymaker. Just when he thinks he is on the verge of making his greatest invention and the most revolutionary toy of all time, he is betrayed and his life takes a downward turn.

Over the years, Jeronicus suffers loss and financial hardships and closes himself off. He no longer displays his passion for inventing but thankfully his granddaughter Journey has come to fix that.

Journey has Jeronicus’s sharp mind and talent for inventing and she brings the spark back into her grandfather’s life as they work to fix what will become his greatest invention, The Buddy 3000. This movie has Christmas, toys, music, and a story of familial love. If any of those interest you, then give this movie a watch. Unfortunately at this time there is no news yet of a sequel, so we’ll have to wait and see.

A Princess for Christmas

Starring Sam Heughan and Katie McGrath this movie may be as close as we ever come to an Outlander and Merlin/Supergirl crossover. Katie McGrath stars as Jules Daly, an antique shop worker from Buffalo who finds herself unemployed at the holiday season.

After the death of her sister, Jules has been taking care of her two children and, after an invitation from their absent grandfather, she decides to take the children to Castlebury for the first time to meet their grandfather Duke Edward. While at Castlebury Jules meets Prince Ashton, Edward’s other son played by Outlander‘s Sam Heughan, and romance blooms between the girl from Buffalo and the prince of Castlebury.

If Katie McGrath having a romance with Sam Heughan while doing an American accent doesn’t sell you on this movie, it also has sweet family moments, chaos at a Christmas tree lot, bringing of Christmas cheer to their grumpy grandfather, and Katie McGrath dancing. Basically, this movie should be a Christmas classic and you should watch it immediately. And yes, it is cheesy but we love it for that reason. That’s what makes Christmas movies so great.
