Sightless movie: All the signs you missed that hint at the twist ending

Did you see that twist ending coming in the Sightless movie on Netflix? Audiences were given plenty of clues.

Netflix subscribers who watched the Sightless movie either saw the twist ending coming or didn’t. Where do you stand?

Whether you picked up on the first clues or were completely shocked by the movie, one thing is for sure, Sightless kept us all on the edge of our seats! While not the most clever movie the streaming titan has to offer, it’s certainly an entertaining feature.

Sightless movie clues and hints

The following clues and hints are not in any particular order. I am listing these as I remember them. I should also note that I may not have caught them all, surely I’m missing a few! If you know of any clues I missed, please let me know and I’ll add them to the list!

The two knocks: Clayton has a habit of knocking twice before leaving the room. I didn’t realize this until Ellen made the audience aware. Did you catch it sooner?

Clayton’s story: Clayton’s story about his mom is simply too familiar. While it makes sense that he became a caregiver because of her, he does hint about having to “become” a lot of characters.

Clayton’s sister: When Clayton shared his story, he mentions his sister, which we should have known was Ellen’s “neighbor.”

The window: Did I miss it or what Clayton described to be happening not really there? He never seemed interested in her theories about the events she could hear and was quick to dismiss them. There’s also that mysterious window that doesn’t make a sound.

The bird: Possibly the biggest hint is the bird. It’s a green budgie, but Clayton tells Ellen that it can be any color she wants and then unnecessarily lies to her about it, telling Ellen that the green bird is baby blue. What else is a lie and what else are we seeing through Ellen’s imagination?

The doctor and police: Are these people blind as well or are they purposely not wanting to see what is happening to Ellen. I was instantly suspicious of the doctor.
