We know You Season 3 is definitely happening, but when will it be released? Here’s all we know about the release date, cast, and much more.

Sadly, the series wasn’t on the list of February 2021 releases on Netflix. That’s not all that surprising. The show was still adding cast members back in October 2020 and only went back into production back in November. It takes time to go through production and post-production, especially for a Netflix show.

Remember all episodes have to be filmed and ready to drop at once. It’s one of the downsides of releasing everything as a binge-watch.

We’ll be sure to update this post when we know more about You Season 3. Here’s what we know so far.

You Season 3 release date

There isn’t a release date just yet. Netflix isn’t going to set dates for shows that are still going through production, although there will be some sort of plan behind the scenes.

With filming only just getting started again back in November 2020, we’re looking at a few more months at the very least.

You Season 3 cast

We know Penn Badgley and Victoria Pedretti will return as Joe and Love. There’s no way the series would be able to continue without them considering the way the second season left off. We also know the following people will return, as well as some new additions:

  • Saffron Burrows as Love’s mother, Dottie
  • Dylan Arnold as Theo
  • Tati Gabrielle as Marienne
  • Michaela McManus as Natalie
  • Shannon Chan-Kent as Kiki
  • Ben Mehl as Dante
  • Chris O’Shea as Andrew
  • Christopher Sean as Brandon
  • Bryan Safi as Jackson
  • Mackenzie Astin as Gil
  • Ayelet Zurer as Dr. Chandra
  • Jack Fisher as Young Joe Goldberg
  • Mauricio Lara as Paulie

Shalita Grant will join the series as Sherry, a “mom-fluencer” who is certainly not the down-to-earth person she pretends to be. Get ready for some catty moments.

Travis VanWinkle will join as Cary, a wealthy man who invites Joe into his inner circle. How is it that Joe manages to end up in everyone’s inner circles?

Scott Speedman is joining as Matthew, a successful CEO, who is also mysterious and withdrawn. He’s not the best at communication, but what is he hiding?

You Season 3 trailer

There isn’t a trailer for the season just yet. That’s not all too surprising since filming hasn’t finished. We won’t expect a trailer until about a month before the release date.

You Season 3 synopsis

You Season 3 is set to pick up off the back of the cliffhanger from the second season. Joe and Love are expecting a baby, but they are certainly not in love. In fact, Joe has realized he’s found his female counterpart, and that’s extremely dangerous for him.

At the same time, there’s a new neighbor who has caught his eye. Will she be safe considering Joe and Love’s previous actions?

There’s no source material to follow this time. Get ready for a twisty season.
