While she is more famously recognized from HBO‘s hit show Euphoria as Cassie Howard, Sydney Sweeney’s impressive resume shows that she was also in Hulu’s popular original series The Handmaid’s Tale back in 2018.

She starred in the critically-acclaimed series’ second season for a total of seven episodes as Eden Spencer, Nick Blaine’s remarkably young wife.

Her character was raised to believe that marriage was the ultimate goal, stating the union as her biggest dream.

Sweeney then delivers an amazing final performance as she and her beloved are sentenced to a gut-wrenching fate.

In the same year of her debut in the series, The Handmaid’s Tale was nominated for a Screen Actors Guild award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series.

Sydney Sweeney shows no signs of slowing down her talented performances, as the now-23-year-old actress is about to start filming the second season of Euphoria.

As for The Handmaid’s Tale? Though we certainly won’t be seeing Sweeney’s character Eden Blaine anytime soon, The Handmaid’s Tale‘s fourth season is scheduled to be released on April 28, 2021.
