Another person is joining Meredith on her beach on Grey’s Anatomy Season 17, Episode 10. It’s time to just “Breathe,” but what will Meredith choose to do?

Meredith’s beach gets another face from her past. We knew there was a chance that a certain person would return, even if just for an episode, but we were never 100% sure it would happen due to COVID and filming schedules. Fortunately, a break in another show has allowed this actress to return.

The “Breathe” comment should give the game away. In fact, the song by Anna Nalick plays in the Grey’s Anatomy Season 17, Episode 10 promo arguably lets you know who Meredith is about to see on the beach.

Unlike with George, we don’t get an “it’s you” and then cut to black. We get the official confirmation of who is back.

Who returns on Grey’s Anatomy Season 17, Episode 10?

Lexie Grey is back for the episode. As a Lexie fan, I would love to see her return to the beach again, but one episode is enough for now. It’s actually made me a little excited to see the episode next week—this season has not been that exciting or fun to watch so I admit I haven’t been watching all episodes live.

Meredith admits that she likes the beach, and Lexie wants to know which decision Meredith will make. Will she choose to return to her children or will she choose to pass onto the other side?

There is peace on the beach. There’s also warmth and happiness. However, I want to see Meredith fight to be with her children. They need her more than the ghosts who will still be there when she does eventually die. Maybe Lexie can put that into perspective.
