Canceled or renewed TV shows 2021: 15 bubble shows that could go either way

Season currently airing: Season 1

What it’s about: What would you do if you need to find a kidney donor but nobody close to you is a match? That’s something Drew has to do. He ends up running into Gina, a woman from his past who offers up her own kidney to save him.

This starts a journey into an unlikely friendship between the two. Their lives will never be the same again, and this is certainly one of the more heart-warming comedies on TV right now.

Chances of renewal: Things are looking pretty good for the show right now. While B Positive is one of the lower-rated shows on the network, CBS is struggling for comedies and it is one of the strongest. With the surprising cancellation of Mom, there is definitely room for this one.

Canceled or renewed: The Rookie

Season currently airing: Season 3

What it’s about: The Rookie Season 3 picked up with John Nolan being framed for all sorts of crimes. Fortunately, those who knew him believed him not to be a bad cop. They just had to prove it.

Once that happened, Nolan had to be punished in some way. He was held back from graduating his training for an extra 30 days, which is where we still are now. Yes, the world’s oldest rookie is still a rookie, but it’s almost coming to an end!

The third season has also focused on cop brutality and systemic racism. The story was told through Jackson’s story as his new T.O. turned out to be a racist cop.

Chances of renewal: While the show hasn’t performed as well as Season 2, it’s still a good show for Sunday nights on ABC. The Rookie Season 4 looks probable unless there’s a pilot ABC thinks will do better.
