When is the Charmed Season 3 finale on The CW?

We’re used to CW shows ending in May each season. That’s not the case for the 2020–2021 season. When is the Charmed Season 3 finale going to air?

With the delayed start, a lot of networks have reduced their current seasons considerably. The CW has tried to keep a normal-length season for most shows, trying not to reduce seasons to shorter than 18 episodes. However, with pandemic protocols, this has meant a stop-start season for a few shows.

It also means the finale dates for all shows are being pushed from May to later in the summer. The Charmed Season 3 finale isn’t going to air until July 2021.

This delay has a knock-on effect for a few things. It delays when the season will head to Netflix, and it also could have an effect on when Charmed Season 4 will come to The CW.

When will the Charmed Season 3 finale air?

We have to wait until July for the finale date. The CW has set Friday, July 16 for the Charmed Season 3 finale. This is much later than we’re used to, and it suggests that are a few Fridays off coming up to get to that point.

What does this mean for the Netflix release? Shows head to Netflix eight days after the season finales air, which means Charmed Season 3 isn’t coming to Netflix until Saturday, July 24. You’ll be able to binge-watch the entire season from 3:01 a.m. ET/12:01 a.m. PT.

This could also have a knock-on effect for the premiere of the new season. In fact, The CW announced its fall 2021 schedule and Charmed wasn’t on the list. It looks like Charmed Season 4 will not arrive until January 2022 at the earliest. This isn’t just due to the delayed finale, but also due to scheduling as there are so many shows on The CW for the 2021–2021 season.

The Charmed Season 3 finale will air on Friday, July 16 at 8/7c on The CW.
