Right after giving us a messy, messy drama with You, Me & My Ex, TLC is gifting fans another crazy reality series. This one we’ve seen before in a slightly different format with Extreme Cheapskates. But this new show is taking the frugal lifestyle to new levels!

 So Freakin Cheap will introduce viewers to four families, each share the ability to score a deal out of an already pretty awesome deal. You will be meeting some extreme bargain hunters.

Not everyone in the family is a fan of these cheap methods, though. In fact, we’ll quickly see tensions rising and emotions at an ultimate high as family members are forced to confront their loved ones about their choices.

Meet the So Freakin Cheap families

• The Tran Family from Orlando, Florida. They may live in an upscale neighborhood, but they are self-proclaimed “Crazy Cheap Asians.”
• The Watson Family from Mesa, Arizona. You’ve met this family before in the original series, Extreme Cheapskates. 
• The Guiles Family from Minoa, New York. Becky is determined to continue her bargain-hunting ways, but Jay has had enough of it. Will Jay be able to change Becky?
• The Clayton Family from Stonecrest, Georgia. Tony is proud of spending close to nothing on household products and utilities, but how does everyone else feel?
