How many Twilight movies are there? Will there be more Twilight movies?

The Twilight Saga movie series is on Netflix July 16, 2021. Fans are ready to binge-watch all the movies and relive the Jacob vs Edward debate! But the move to Netflix has fans wondering if there will be more movies.

These days, everything is getting one of these three: a revival, sequel, or reboot! And when I say everything, I mean it. HBO Max is leading this trend with the Gossip Girl revival and Space Jam 2, which arrives on Friday, July 16.

Many are also excited for And Just Like That, the Sex and the City revival (sequel series?), on HBO Max. The streaming service sure seems to be finding a lot of success in revivals and sequels. Needless to say, out of all revivals, I didn’t see one for Sex and the City coming — so why not a revival for Twilight?

Now, we know never say never, but if a revival or sequel series does happen for Twilight, I highly doubt the original cast will return. Still, that doesn’t mean it can’t happen (look at Gossip Girl, for example).

How many Twilight movies are there?

There are five movies in the franchise, and they are:

  • Twilight
  • Twilight: New Moon
  • Twilight: Eclipse
  • Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 1
  • Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2

Where can you watch all the Twilight movies online?

Beginning on Friday, July 16, 2021, you can stream all the Twilight movies on Netflix with a subscription to the streaming service. All five movies will drop on the service on the same day and at the same time.

Will there be more Twilight movies?

At this time, there are no plans to make another movie. A book titled Midnight Sun from Stephenie Meyer is a version of the story told from the perspective of Edward Cullen. But, again, it would have to star a new cast and a retelling of the same story is best for a book and not a TV series or movie, in my opinion.

However, Netflix is known for bringing new life to shows and movies. Netflix’s audience is massive and when an underrated series (or film) streams there, it finds a new fanbase eager for more. Just look at the magic Netflix has done for Lucifer and You (and hopefully for Manifest, too).
