American Horror Stories is now streaming its first two episodes on FX on Hulu and we meet Rubber Woman. Who is she and why is she on a murderous rampage?

AHS fans are eagerly waiting for a new season, but until American Horror Story season 10 arrives on Aug. 25, 2021, we’ve got FX on Hulu’s American Horror Stories to keep us entertained.

The new spins-off series is similar, yet different from its parent series. Instead of focusing on a new story each season, Stories will feature a new haunting tale each episode, giving fans bite-size chills.

This new concept was quickly welcomed and we couldn’t wait to sink our teeth into it!

Episode 1 and episode 2, titled “Rubber (WO)man – Part 1” and “Rubber (WO)man – Part 2,” are now streaming. If you haven’t watched these yet, please note there are spoilers ahead! Stream the first two episodes before reading on.

Who is Rubber Woman in American Horror Stories?

Right away, American Horror Stories teases us by featuring our beloved Murder House. The first two episodes take place in the famous home that captured all our horror-seeking hearts from AHS: Murder House.

We kept a good eye out, but, unfortunately, there was no Evan Peter sighting. However, do you think it was him in the rubber suit staring back at Scarlett in the mirror? That’s my first guess.

Scarlett, a troubled teen, moves in to the haunted house with her dads, who plan on renovating the home and make money out of the scary stories and supposed hauntings. Unfortunately, not many who enter walk out alive.

Scarlett is the one who finds the rubber suit. She puts it on (looks amazing in it) and checks herself in the mirror only to find a different, bigger figure looking back. Perhaps the person who wore it before Scarlett?

Eventually, Scarlett accepts her dark side and suits up to murder her four school bullies. The murders don’t stop there, and Scarlett meets a partner in crime in Ruby, a young teen who killed herself there.

What did you think about the first two episodes? Is Rubber Woman who you were expecting? Don’t forget, episode 3 will follow a completely different story.
