iCarly revival has been renewed for season 2: When is it coming out?

Wake up the members of Carly’s nation! We have some really great news about the revival of the Nickelodeon smash hit series iCarly.

Earlier this year, we were blessed with a reboot of our favorite childhood TV show. Fans got some major nostalgia as they saw Miranda Cosgrove, Jerry Trainor, and Nathan Kress together on their screens once more, but this time, much older and much more mature. The old days of random dancing and tee shirts with ridiculous sayings may have been replaced with Carly’s relationship woes and budding career, but, fortunately, the revival still has that unique appeal that the original show held in 2007.

The appeal of the series can be seen by all which is why many believed that the show would continue past the first season. Initially, some were nervous about the revival’s future, but they can sigh with relief because iCarly is coming back for a second season!

iCarly revival renewed for season 2 at Paramount Plus

Deadline tells us that a second season was almost a no-brainer over at Paramount Plus especially considering the fact that the show was the streaming platform’s most-streamed titles of the summer! Not to mention the other fact that the series’ reception is exceptional, currently standing at a perfect critic score of 100% and an impressive audience score of 83% over at Rotten Tomatoes.

Cosgrove and the rest of the cast aren’t the only people counting down the days for season 2 as fans are also impatiently waiting to see more new episodes appear on their screen. Thankfully, we do have a little insight into the second season’s release date.

iCarly season 2 release date

While iCarly season 2 has yet to release an official release date, the sophomore season of the revival series could premiere sometime later this year or earlier next year around the same time its pilot season was released. Of course, we’ll be sure to let you know of an official release date once it is announced.

We’re thrilled that the show has been performing so well, and even more thrilled that season 2 is on its way soon!
