Young Sheldon‘s fourth season certainly left us with a lot of questions. With being one of the most tension-filled seasons that we’ve had of the CBS series so far, fans have been begging to know more about what’s to come in the long-awaited fifth season and we don’t blame them!

We absolutely have to tell you everything we know so far about Young Sheldon season 5 so that you can be all ready for the anticipated season 5. Check it out, right here!

Young Sheldon season 5 release date

Get ready to mark your calendars because according to the series’ official Instagram page, Young Sheldon‘s season five is slated to premiere this fall on October 7th, 2021! Check out the announcement down below!

We’re super excited to see more of this young genius’ life and we know you are, too! Three months will fly by in no time!

Young Sheldon season 5 cast

As of right now, an official cast list has yet to be revealed, but, most likely, the main cast for season five will be the same as previous seasons with American actor Lance Barber returning as George Cooper, Zoe Perry as Mary Cooper, Raegan Revord as Missy Cooper, Montana Jordan as George Cooper Jr., and, of course, Iain Armitage returning as Sheldon Cooper.

Hopefully, we’ll get some recurring characters returning to our screens such as Paige Swanson or Dr. Linkletter, but we’ll wait until more is known about the fifth season to see who will be joining the cast.

Young Sheldon season 5 synopsis

While we don’t yet have an official synopsis for the upcoming season, we expect the fifth season to continue from where the fourth season left off. It’s likely that we will see the outcome of Mary and George’s relationship following their huge fight, and we’ll also see how Sheldon continues to cope with being a young prodigy in his new scholastic environment.

Perhaps the strained married couple will kiss and make up, perhaps they won’t. Maybe Sheldon will continue to excel in all his studies? Maybe he won’t. We know you have just as many questions as we do, but we’ll have to tune in to the newest season to know how it all plays out.

Though a release date has been announced, we, unfortunately, have not yet been given an official trailer. However, we’re expecting one to release sometime soon especially with October fast approaching. Fingers crossed for a trailer next month!
