Dave‘s second season is officially coming to a close tonight, ending an amazing second season full of moments that we absolutely couldn’t get enough of. From the shocking moments of Dave’s career to the many celebrity cameos that we were delighted to see, this highly anticipated season 2 definitely exceeded our expectations, and we cannot wait for another round of this series. How many seasons of Dave are there?

There are currently two seasons of Dave that can be watched by both new and old fans of the series. Each season has a total of 10 episodes that are all under an hour in duration.

Is Dave season 3 happening?

With the way that the second season is progressing, the chances of receiving a season 3 are pretty 50-50. On one hand, we definitely could see Dave’s journey continue after he has released his debut album “Penith”, but on the other hand, being that the comedy series is based on the American rapper’s real life, there is a chance that the show could simply end at episode 20, letting the audience fill in the blanks as to what will happen next.

Dave has yet to be renewed for a third season, but we believe we will know much more about the fate of the series in the near future. Hopefully, the series continues from the release of the debut album because there is so much more of this budding rapper’s life that we would love to see.

It doesn’t look like the FXX series doesn’t really follow a particular pattern for its release dates being that the pilot season was released during Spring 2020 and the second season was released this year during Summer 2021. Season 3 may be released during Spring/Summer 2022, but as of right now, it’s anyone’s guess as to when the third season will debut.
