Alright, Riverdale fans, who’s ready for another tonal shift on this off-the-wall show?

”Chapter Ninety: The Night Gallery” took us through a dark triptych that delved deep into Archie, Betty, and Jughead’s respective traumas that have shaped them over the past seven years. But Riverdale season 5, episode 15 “Chapter Ninety-One: The Return of the Pussycats” will see us pivoting to something much lighter!

It’s been years since Josie and the Pussycats rocked and rolled their way across the stage in Riverdale. In fact, the iconic trio fizzled out on the show to the disappointment of the fans and the actors themselves. Josie became a one-act wonder and Melody and Valerie faded from screen.

Now it seems season 5 will be rectifying that wrong by using the seven year time jump to bring these girls back together. Here’s what we know about episode 15!

Josie and the Pussycats make their Riverdale season 5 debut in episode 15

We last left Josie in Katy Keene. The short-lived Riverdale spin-off saw the artist establishing a new Josie and the Pussycats line-up. Learning from her past mistakes, Josie was more open to collaboration and truly being a band not a solo act with backing musicians.

Due to the show’s cancellation, however, we didn’t get to see where that journey was going to take her. But according to the synopsis for “Chapter Ninety-One: Return of the Pussycats,” Josie is once again a one-woman show and a superstar at that. However, all is not right among the bright lights of Josie’s life because she goes ghost in the middle of her own world tour.

It’s a situation that reunites her with her former bandmates in Riverdale as Valerie and Melody are the only two she wants to open up to about what’s going on with her. We’re not sure what’s got Josie skipping out on performing, but if it means the OG Pussycats are back then we’re down for the ride!
