Chicago Med season 7, the next installment in one of Dick Wolf’s popular Chicago series, makes its debut in September. The series, which had the fortune of not missing the fall TV line-up last season, saw the departure of two main characters in season 6.

Both Yaya DaCosta and Torrey DeVitto took their final bows as April Sexton and Dr. Natalie Manning. The two actresses had been with the show since its premiere and, while they’re both be moving on to other projects, their absence is certain to be felt by longtime fans of Chicago Med.

New characters, however, will be making their debut in season 7, so new stories will be taking the stage to excite viewers.
