What to watch when you need a good laugh
Broad City
This is one of my personal favorite shows! Okay, I lied. All of the shows on this list are my favorite! What can I say? I enjoy a good comedy.
Broad City targets a younger audience. It follows two BFFS in New York and their adventures and struggles. The two couldn’t be more different, and that’s what we love so much about them.
Schitt’s Creek
Schitt’s Creek is a comedy classic! Seriously, it’s going to go down as one of the best comedies of all-time. The show follows an obnoxiously rich family (well, they used to be rich) after losing all of their money and now are forced to live in a motel they bought “as a joke.”
Ted Lasso
Need a pick me up? Ted Lasso is the perfect show for this! The show feels like a warm hug with all the good feels. Season 2 is currently streaming (watch new episodes each Friday) on Apple TV+, there are 22 episodes available so far, but each is 30-45 minutes long.
The Simple Life
I often credit The Simple Life for making reality TV popular. The show follows Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie as they leave their luxurious lifestyles to live in a farm and work various jobs. From working at Sonic to cleaning up after cows, Hilton and Richie try it all. But the question is, will they learn anything along with way? Spoiler alert: No.
Saturday Night Live
If you watch all episodes of Saturday Night Live, you will be spending many weeks on the couch. After all, the sketch comedy series premiered in 1975 and it’s still going strong.
But what’s so great about it, is that you can pick up anywhere! Watch frequent episodes, the oldest, or ones in between.
What will you be watching? Did you take the quiz and get one of these shows or something different?
