Is Last Night in Soho going to stream on HBO Max?

‘Tis the season for thriller and psychological horror movies, and the latest film from director Edgar Wright promises not to disappoint. Last Night in Soho follows the story of an aspiring fashion designer who is able to go back in time to the 1960s where she meets a up-and-coming singer, but the film teases a darkness below the surface of all the glamour.

Last Night in Soho stars Anya-Taylor Joy, with Thomasin McKenzie, Matt Smith, Aimee Cassettari, Rita Tushingham, and Colin Mace. The title of the film gets its name from a 1960s British beat band, and though Soho is often thought of as an area in Manhattan, the Soho in the movie is actually referring to an entertainment district in the West End of London known for its fashionable patrons at the time.

The movie is set to release in theaters on October 29, 2021, but will it also be available to stream on HBO Max? Because Last Night in Soho was produced by Focus Features and will be distributed by Universal, the movie does not have a connection to HBO Max, which primarily streams new releases from Warner Bros.

So where can you stream Last Night in Soho online? Though there’s yet to be an official confirmation, if it becomes available to stream online, it’s likely that the movie will go to Peacock, Universal’s own streaming platform. Recently, the Universal horror film Halloween Kills went to Peacock and it seems likely that Last Night in Soho will follow suit. It’s possible that the film won’t be available to stream online anywhere at first, but check back to see if it does get a streaming premiere date.
