TBS to celebrate James Michael Tyler with Friends Marathon: See the full schedule

On Sunday, Oct. 24, the Friends community suffered an unimaginable loss with the passing of actor James Michael Tyler following his battle with prostate cancer.

Appearing in 150 episodes across the show’s ten seasons, Tyler played love-smitten Central Perk manager Gunther who was beloved by fans and often considered to be the “seventh friend.”

In the days since his passing, tributes have come pouring in from fans as well as from the entire Friends cast who have taken to social media to remember their friend and costar. Now one network is planning on celebrating the late actor in one of the most fitting ways possible: via a Friends marathon comprised of Gunther’s best moments.

As first announced via the official Friends social accounts, in celebration of the life of James Michael Tyler, TBS will be airing a two-day marathon filled with iconic episodes featuring memorable Guther moments.

Across the two days, TBS will be airing a total of 24 episodes set to air across a six-hour window each day. From “The Last One,” in which Gunther finally professed his love for Rachel to “The One Where Eddie Won’t Go,” where we discover Gunther’s secret past as a former soap star, the lineup is a perfect tribute to the late actor.
