The CW had a good night with both Batwoman and Legends of Tomorrow ticking up in the live TV ratings. Here’s a full look at the night of new episodes.

Everything aired new on Wednesday, Nov. 3. It was a night packed with great content, whether you wanted the usual One Chicago drama or were looking for ABC comedy.

Unsurprisingly, the One Chicago shows brought in the biggest audiences of the night.  All three also had a 0.7 demo, which was down a little for both Fire and Med, but we don’t need to worry about any of them. They’re all renewed for another season.

The CW was the only network that saw upward ticks in both the demo and audience. Legends of Tomorrow was up 42% in the demo and 15% in the audience, while Batwoman was up 42% in the demo and 25% in the audience. I think we’ll see both of these shows renewed for new seasons.

Survivor mixed, The Wonder Years down in the live TV ratings

We’ll start with CBS, which started the night with a new episode of Survivor. The show was up 7% in the demo and down 1.5% in the audience. It pulled in the best demo of the entire night, joint with The Masked Singer. The audience was the best outside of the One Chicago shows.

Tough as Nails was up 2% in the demo but down 6% in the audience. This is a show I’m on the fence about. Unscripted shows don’t cost as much as scripted to make, but CBS will still want the show to perform well. It’s not performing all that well off the back of the Survivor.

CSI: Vegas was down another 14% in the demo and 6% in the audience. I don’t think the series is going to be renewed, but it doesn’t help that the show was put in a terrible timeslot.

ABC started the night with comedy, with The Goldbergs up 3% in the demo and steady in the audience. While The Wonder Years was down 7% in the demo and 14% in the audience, I don’t think it’s anything to be concerned about. The Conners’ renewal will depend more on the main cast than the TV ratings. Out of the comedies, it’s Home Economics that I’m most concerned about. The audience was down another 4% and is the lowest comedy of the night.

I’m also concerned about A Million Little Things. The show was down another 28% in the demo and 9% in the audience. The timeslot is terrible, but I don’t think ABC will take that into account for a renewal.

Finally, it’s all about FOX. The Masked Singer is going to be renewed despite the 5% dip in the demo and 11% dip in the audience. This is still one of the top FOX shows. I’m not convinced Alter Ego will be renewed yet. While the demo was up 8%, it’s still on the low side compared to The Masked Singer. The audience was also down 9%, dipping below the two million mark.
