Where can you stream Will Smith’s King Richard? Is the movie streaming on HBO?

The award season is kicking into high gear and one of the Oscar front-runners, Will Smith, is back in a big way in the film King Richard. The big question of the week is, will it be available on the small screen, big screen, or both? Here’s what you need to know about the King Richard movie.

It was 2015, the last time Will Smith was in the Oscar conversation and it was for his performance in Concussion. Although the performance was very good, it still wasn’t one of Smith’s best and since we have seen him do some good work in Aladdin, Suicide Squad and more recently Bad Boys for Life.

Smith plays Richard Williams, the father of Venus and Serena Williams. We know this is following along the early stages of their lives, how he groomed them, the obstacles they faced and how they became global icons.

The early reports have been really kind to not only Smith but also to the entire cast. From the young girls that play the Williams sisters Saniyya Sidney and Demi Singleton to Aunjanue Ellis, who plays Brandi, their mother to Jon Bernthal, who plays Rick Macci, their tennis coach. We could be in for a real treat.

Can you stream King Richard online from home?

Yes, you can check out the latest from Will Smith in the confines of your house as long as you have an HBO Max subscription. The biopic will be available on November 19, 2021, at the same time it hits theaters.

One thing you need to be aware of though is that the movie will only be on the streaming platform for thirty days and at that point, they take it off for a few months. So make sure you get your watch in within that time period.
