Hawkeye is streaming on Disney+ and there’s no doubt that you want to watch it. Is it something to put on with the kids? What’s the Hawkeye age rating?
Everything on Disney+ is suitable for kids, right? That is mostly the case, but not everything is suitable for all kids.
In the end, you’ll want to look at a TV series or movie yourself to see if it’s suitable for your own children. We all know that children are not made equal. Some can handle horror and violence a little better than others. And I say that as someone who loved watching horror movies at the age of 12, while friends wouldn’t have dared.
What’s the official Hawkeye age rating?
Sometimes, it’s worth knowing what the official age rating is. Disney’s official Hawkeye age rating is TV-14.
This is pretty much a PG-13 movie. It will have some violence in it, but the nudity and the language are kept to a minimum. And the violence that is in there isn’t too outrageous. So, it’s a series that is suitable for teenagers, just like many other Marvel TV shows.
What about the younger kids? This is where you need to use your own judgment. This is the sort of show I’d happily let my children watch, but not everyone else would. We all have our own standards, and we all know what our own children can cope with seeing.
Common Sense Media puts the age rating at 11+. Pretty much, if your children have watched the Marvel movies, they’re going to be fine watching something like Hawkeye. If they’ve already watched Loki, then there’s nothing wrong with this latest Marvel series.
