It’s a new month, and that means more content to watch on Hulu. There is a lot arriving in December 2021, but here are the top five picks.

As usual, there is something for everyone when it comes to the Hulu releases in December. The first of the month brings a great list of older movies to check out. If you haven’t yet watched the likes of the Ocean Eleven movies or Sherlock Holmes, now is the time to do so. Even if you have, now is a good time to rewatch them all.

But what about the new content arriving throughout the month? The full list can be overwhelming, and it’s easy to miss something you actually wanted to see. Here’s a look at everything that you need to watch this month.

5 must-watch titles on Hulu in December 2021

This list is in release date order. After all, it’s impossible to compare the different genres.

Godfather of Harlem Season 1

We start with the first season of Godfather of Harlem starring Forest Whitaker. He plays Bumpy Johnson, the legendary New York crime boss who spent a decade imprisoned in the 1950s. When he returns to Harlem, he finds it now controlled by the Italian mob.

Bumpy wants to get his power back. This is at the time that Malcolm X and the Nation of Islam tell another story of Black liberation. It’s an uphill battle, but can he succeed?

Watch the series from Thursday, Dec. 2.

Creamerie Season 1

For those who need a comedy, Creamerie is one to look out for. If you liked the premise of Y: The Last Man where all men are wiped out from the planet, Creamerie will appeal to you. All men have been killed by a plague, and women have found a way to keep the Earth’s population around.

However, what if not all the men were killed by this plague? What if there are still some men around? And what will a group of women who clearly just want to have fun in this post-apocalyptic world do? That’s what to find out on this new series.

Check out the new show from Thursday, Dec. 9.

Crossing Swords Season 2

Do you love animated comedies? If so, you’re in some luck. The second season of Crossing Swords is arriving on Hulu. Patrick is back with his good-hearted nature and tremendous guilt. All 10 episodes will arrive at once again so you can binge-watch it.

This season sees Patrick continue to climb the knighthood ladder. There are new friends and new enemies along the way as he tries to stay on the right side of the volatile King Merriman. This time we have leprechauns, killer monkeys, and some sort of shadowy villain to destroy.

Watch the episodes from Friday, Dec. 10.

Dead Asleep

For the true-crime fans, Dead Asleep is the next offering on Hulu to check out this month. This one follows Randy Herman Jr., who may have committed a brutal murder while in his sleep. The documentary will look at whether that was possible, or whether it was some cover story.

The documentary talks to Herman and his family, the protection and defense teams in the case, and journalists involved in covering the case. There are also interviews with experts to help determine if the controversial crime was even all that possible.

Watch the documentary on Thursday, Dec. 16.

Dragons: The Nine Realms

Finally, we have something for the kids on Hulu. It’s all about Dragons: The Nine Realms. This is set in the spectacular world of How to Train Your Dragon, and this time it’s an animated series instead of a movie.

It takes place thousands of years after the movies. The flying beasts you remember are now just a legend in this world. That is until a fissure in the planet opens up the portal to the mysterious world and a new generation of trainers is born.
