When you turn on the TV, whether its network TV or one of the many streaming platforms, you can’t escape Christmas movies. It’s the holiday season! It’s expected! But what if you don’t celebrate Christmas and instead are searching for fun Hanukkah movies so you can, too, join the jolly holiday fun?

There are not as many Hanukkah movies as there are Christmas movies, not even close, that’s no secret, but that doesn’t mean you should miss out on the fun. In this post, we’ll be sharing five great Hanukkah movies to stream this holiday season and, most importantly, where you can find it online.

Hanukkah movies to watch this holiday season

Eight Crazy Nights – Watch on Amazon Prime Video

First up, we’ve got Adam Sandler’s Eight Crazy Nights, and animated movie that premiered in 2002. At Rotten Tomatoes, the movie has a rotten score of 12%, but it’s an Adam Sandler movie, what were you expecting?

Eight Crazy Nights follows Davey Stone (Sandler) a party animal who gets into trouble and is given one last chance of redemption by a judge. What must Davey do? Spend the holiday season doing acts of service.

The Night Before – Watch on FX and FXX

Out of all the movies on this list, The Night Before is newer than most. The R-rated comedy follows best friends Ethan (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), Isaac (Seth Rogen), and Chris (Anthony Mackie) gathering to celebrate the holidays “with a bang” as one of them is about to become a father and they know their party days may soon come to an end.

An American Tail – Watch on Hulu, Starz, or Philo

Who remembers this sweet classic? It takes place on the first night of Hanukkah and follows a mouse who is separated from his family. It’s sweet, sad, all the feelings!

Call Me By Your Name – Watch on Hulu, Starz, Philo, or Sling TV Premium

That’s right, Call Me By Your Name does count as a Hanukkah movie. Both leads are Jewish, and the holiday celebration is included in the movie. Just note it is rated-R.

Full-Court Miracle – Watch on VOD

Love sports and happy feels? Watch Full-Court Miracle! The movie follows a team of Jewish schoolboys who get a former college-basketball player (played Richard T. Jones) to coach their team.
