We’ve almost made it to the Succession season 3 finale, y’all! Though this season has been pretty much more of the same for the Roy family, something tells me this last episode is about to be epic.

In case you need a refresher, season 3 showed us what happened in the fallout of Kendall (Jeremy Strong) exposing his father Logan (Brian Cox) for the cruise line scandal, along with Shiv (Sarah Snook) and Roman (Kieran Culkin) going head to head to get their father’s attention. Early on in the season, Logan named Gerri (J. Smith-Cameron) the temporary CEO of Waystar Royco, and Tom (Matthew Macfadyen) discovered he likely wouldn’t be going to prison after all.

There’s a lot riding on the Succession season 3 finale, but once that’s all said and done, what’s next for the HBO hit?

Is Succession renewed for season 4?

Rejoice, Succession fans! Succession season 4 is in the works, as was confirmed in October 2021. This is great news for all of us viewers, because it means we still have more story and rivalry to go for this toxic family. No word yet on what a release window could look like, considering season 3 is just concluding, but hopefully production will start up sooner than later.

The Succession season 3 finale premieres tonight, Dec. 12, at 9:00 p.m. only on HBO and HBO Max. The episode is titled “All the Bells Say,” and will see the family continue to try and make a deal with businessman Lukas Matsson (Alexander Skarsgard), as well as attend Caroline’s (Harriet Walter) wedding in Italy.

And of course, viewers are wondering what’ll be up with Kendall in the season 3 finale. Episode 8 ended with him passed out on a float in the pool, spilling and dropping a beer from his hands. Many online are convinced that he’s dead, but I’m not so sure. Yes, he wasn’t included in the finale teaser which you can watch above, but that’s likely the show trying to keep us guessing.

It won’t be long now until we find out how it all ends on Succession season 3. And after that, at least we know season 4 is happening!
