UPDATE: Spider-Man: No Way Home will stream on Starz “sometime over the next six months,” IGN reports.

There’s only a couple of days until Spider-Man: No Way Home officially hits theaters and the excitement for this highly anticipated movie can certainly be felt all around the world.

This movie is slated to be one of the most ambitious Marvel Cinematic Universe films of all time as there will be tons of familiar faces and blasts from the past that will leave you speechless in the movie theaters, or, for some, in the comfort of their own home.

If you are opting to stay at home for the premiere (so that you can freak out about Tom Holland in your own company), then you’re probably wondering if (and when) this film will make its way to streaming platforms or if hitting up your local theater is the only way to go. We tell you everything to know, here.

Will Spider-Man: No Way Home stream on HBO Max?

At this time, there are no plans to release Spider-Man: No Way Home on HBO Max and most likely never will be as the Marvel film has been produced by Sony, a company that isn’t currently partnered with HBO Max.

Of course, we can never say never meaning that, in the far future, this 2021 film may be readily available for HBO Max users to watch. But as that day is certainly a while from now, read on to learn where you may be able to stream Spider-Man: No Way Home once it leaves the theaters.

Where to stream Spider-Man: No Way Home online

As previously mentioned, Sony holds the rights to this film, and because of this, Starz (owned by Lionsgate who is currently partnered with Sony) may be the place you can expect this movie to arrive.

Additionally, Disney+ may also be a possible option as Sony recently struck a deal with Disney+ to allow its movies, including previous installments of Holland’s Spider-Man, to stream on its platform starting as soon as 2022.

However, as Spider-Man: No Way Home is a 2021 film and as the deal with Starz is still relatively new, it’s possible that this movie may be excluded from the new deal so be sure to take this information with a grain of salt.

Streaming options may not be available as of yet, but we’ll certainly update you once we know more. Until then, catch Spider-Man: No Way Home premiering Friday, Dec. 17 at a theater near you. You’re absolutely not going to want to miss this one!
