NCIS season 19 episode 10 came back from the holiday break with an episode that had a major twist! When classified Navy software is allegedly stolen by Navy Warrant Officer Rafi Nazar, his innocence is called into question with all of the evidence the team finds. But is everything truly as it seems? Plus, Jimmy and McGee were the recipients of a surprising amount of money. How did NCIS season 19 episode 10 explain these turn of events?

The team’s case revolved around stolen classified software that had to do with a key that would allow someone to take over the drones that were currently flying in U.S. airspace. While the Navy works quickly to deactivate the key before it can be used, the team must figure out if Nazar is responsible for the theft.

It really does look like Nazar is responsible, considering his activation code, ID, and facial recognition were used to gain access to the software. When the hacker who supposedly helped him is killed with the same type of weapon he owns, it only seems to deepen the mystery.

NCIS season 19 episode 10 saw a case with a big twist

Eventually, Nazar makes contact with his fiancée, Kay, who has been adamant about his innocence. He wants to prove that he is not guilty by finding out who is framing him on his own. Before the team can catch him, he runs for the local Afghanistan embassy to seek protection.

In order to get him to come to NCIS to talk, they convince him they won’t arrest his fiancee if he comes with them. Unfortunately, someone attempts to kill him before they can even get into the car to go to headquarters.

The case takes a surprising turn when Nazar begins to realize who exactly framed him. It turns out his own fiancée had been radicalized and she used Nazar in order to give the software to the Taliban. We have to say, she was pretty convincing as she tried to keep any suspicion off herself while still trying to claim he was innocent.

During the course of the case, we learn that McGee and Jimmy both came into a hefty amount of money, $10,000. It turns out that Gibbs had saved money he put into an account for Kelly before she died and he has been giving the money to various agents once they had their own kids. This was a nice way to give Gibbs a shoutout and to remind us that he is doing well.
