UPDATE: The Amazing Race 33 begins on Jan. 5, 2022, only on CBS.

Has the CBS network renewed The Amazing Race for another season? When will The Amazing Race season 33 premiere on the network to kick off new episodes? Here’s is everything we know about it so far.

It has been an uneventful 2020 (and most of 2021, as well). Fans were truly lucky that The Amazing Race season 32 filmed before the pandemic so the network was able to give us the episodes. However, season 32 wrapped on Dec. 16, 2020. We are now nearing the end of 2021 and there’s little to nothing fans know about season 33.

Has The Amazing Race been canceled or renewed? What can we expect as the pandemic continues? Life is getting better, but we are still not there just yet!

The Amazing Race season 33 premiere date

Unfortunately, we don’t have an exact date for you. There is a bit of good news, though, and that’s the fact that CBS has not canceled the series. Come on, it’s going on 33 seasons, The Amazing Race is not going anywhere any time soon.

We do know, however, that The Amazing Race is set to return to CBS this season, according to a report from Deadline.

The source shares that production was shut down because of the pandemic and faced a long production delay, but it is now currently in pre-production with plans to premiere this Fall TV season. As soon as we have more details, we’ll update you here.
