How many episodes are in This is Us season 6?

The heartwarming NBC series This Is Us is sadly coming to an end with its sixth season.

The series, which began airing in 2016, captured the attention of millions all over the nation and was continuously applauded for its riveting stories, important conversations, and, most importantly, for its beautiful take on family.

Because of the show’s significance in many people’s lives, saying goodbye to the series is certainly going to be a hard task once season 6 comes to a bittersweet end. But fans may not have to say goodbye so soon as there are still plenty of brand new This Is Us episodes that await.

Great news! According to Newsweek, This Is Us season 6 is slated to have an 18-episode order, 2 episodes more than its previous season!

The first of these 18 episodes was released on Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2022, and 3 of the remaining episodes will debut every Tuesday up until the Winter 2022 Olympics which officially begins Feb. 4, 2022. Though there will be a lengthy This Is Us hiatus to accommodate for the global sports event, as soon as the 2022 Olympics concludes, your favorite NBC series will be up and running once again, premiering its fifth episode on Tuesday, Feb. 22 as well as its sixth on March 1.

After This Is Us season 6 episode 6 debuts, we’re assuming that the show will release the final 12 episodes on a regular schedule. Should this go as expected, then you will be able to prolong your farewell to this amazing show until late Spring or early Summer 2022.
