Euphoria Season 2 is back! Fans of the series have long-awaited its return ever since the first season aired back in 2019. After over two years, a second season is back with 8 new episodes that follow the main character, Rue (Zendaya) as she navigates love, loss, and addictions in her life.

Though we don’t know too many details about the new season of Euphoria, the latest trailer for the series gives us a sneak peek of what we can expect to see from Rue and several other characters in the upcoming episodes — and the stories look to be just as intense as before.

Many streaming sites choose to release new episodes at midnight, and it’s become a schedule that fans have gotten used to on other platforms like Netflix, Hulu and Disney+. However, HBO and HBO Max follow a different schedule for releasing episodes online.

Euphoria season 2 episode release schedule

HBO is handling the release of new episodes a little differently than other platforms. Instead of midnight releases, HBO will offer both cable audiences and HBO Max streaming audiences the opportunity to watch new episodes at the same time. This way, there’s less of a chance of spoilers being posted. It’s honestly a great system that helps ensure everyone has access to the next episode at the same time.

So what time does Euphoria come out on HBO Max? Because the series airs at 9 p.m. ET on HBO, this is the time that you can stream new episodes Sundays on HBO Max. New episodes will air on the HBO network and become available to stream on HBO Max at 9 p.m. ET. Of course, if you miss an episode on Sunday night, you can always stream it when it’s most convenient for you. Where will you be watching new episodes of Euphoria season 2?
