Bungee jumping, stairs, wine oh my! The Amazing Race 33 episode 5 was definitely accelerating! My heart was racing just watching the contestants take on these challenges. Bungee jumping is something I never see myself doing, so I was so nervous watching. Which team were you rooting on? How do you feel about the team that was eliminated? Spoilers ahead!

Every Wednesday night, we like to finish up our day by watching The Amazing Race 33, and what an interesting season this has been! Filming began 20 months ago, which is so hard to believe! It’s the longest break in the show’s history. Because of COVID-19, filming was put on hold. And when it picked back up, not all tams returned, sadly. This is one season for the books, that’s for sure.

Despite the ongoing pandemic, filming has resumed, and we’re so happy to have our Wednesday nights back. Before you read on, please note there are spoilers ahead if you missed tonight’s episode.

Who was eliminated on The Amazing Race 33 episode 5?

Fortunately for everyone, this was not an elimination round! This means that no one was sent home, but father-daughter duo Arun and Natalia were last. BFF’s Ryan and Dusty won first place.

Here are the remaining teams:

  • Akbar & Sheri (Married Educators)
  • Kim & Penn (Internet Personalities)
  • Lulu & Lala (Twins/Radio Hosts)
  • Raquel & Cayla (Flight Attendants)
  • Ryan & Dusty (Best Friends)
  • Arun & Natalia (Father/Daughter)

What was your favorite moment from this episode? I loved when Kim bungee jumped. What a brave woman! Let me tell you, that’s something I could never do. You could tell she was so scared, yet went through with it. Go, Kim! I loved how proud Penn was of her.
