After a three-year break, Celebrity Big Brother is finally coming back for a third season on CBS this February.

From the moment CBS first announced its plans to bring the series back for a third season at the end of 2021, fans have been counting down the days until season 3’s arrival. Once a premiere date was set, all eyes shifted to the season 3 cast and speculation has been running rampant in recent weeks with casting rumors.

Days before the official cast announcement, a leaked cast list dropped on Twitter which created quite a lot of buzz due to the star quality of the rumored cast members. Celebrities like Alexa PenaVega, Curtis Stone, Jillian Michaels, Jerry Trainor, NeNe Leakes, Ne-Yo, Tiffany Pollard and Tyler Cameron all emerged as candidates in what could have been an incredible cast.

Unfortunately, none of these celebrities are actually going to be a part of the season 3 cast. Instead, CBS has rounded up a crop of celebrities that has left fans feeling quite disappointed.

Underwhelmed might be an understatement as we definitely had higher hopes for the season 3 cast. Sure, there are definitely some notable names among the cast; however, it’s fair to say that the cast is lacking the star quality past casts have seen.

And Twitter has been quick to share their displeasure in the cast as well.

Of course, the cast could definitely surprise us and deliver an entertaining season but it’s going to be an uphill battle for the show given how unhappy fans seem to be about the cast.

Regardless, you can catch the new season of Celebrity Big Brother when season 3 kicks off on CBS on Wednesday, Feb. 2.
