Servant season 3 episode 2: Who knows what happened to Jericho?

Servant season 3 episode 2, “Hive,” is now streaming on Apple TV+ and it gives audiences so much to unpack! But instead of a play-by-play recap, let’s break things down to the main events and questions have have from this episode.

What happens in Servant season 3 episode 2?

After last week’s frightening events, Dorothy and Sean Turner are quick to have security cameras installed outside and around the house. This will make everyone feel more secure. But what Leanne wasn’t expecting, was a party at the home.

Dorothy wants Jericho to grow up around a nice community, so she invites the moms in the neighborhood over for some games and food. What better way to get to know everyone? Leanne isn’t happy about it, she continues to feel paranoid and is stressing out about having so many strangers in the home. Leanne also tells Sean that Dorothy is not doing this for Jericho, she’s doing it for herself.

Sean tries to explain that some people simply need more than just family, and Dorothy is one of these people. Dorothy craves attention and friends, it’s just who she is. Sean has Julian and his new girlfriend Veera come over to watch the security camera monitors, just in case. Still, this isn’t enough for Leanne.

Dorothy is all smiles as she hosts, but one mom begins to press about Julian’s substance abuse.

This nosy mom tells Dorothy how nice it was to see Dorothy on the news covering a new addiction recover center in town, since her brother is an addict. Ouch, getting a little personal here. But this wasn’t even the worst part. The mom also asks about an ambulance parked outside of the home — now, she’s not talking about Julian’s incident on Christmas, but Jericho’s death, a memory Dorothy has already pushed behind a wall in her mind, so she appears confused. A distraction pulls away from this topic, and Dorothy is relieved. Could this nosy mom know more than she is letting on? Did this mom continue to press the topic because she wants Dorothy to remember? Just like Leanne, I’m suspicious of everyone who enters the home outside of the family.

Back in the kitchen, Leanne describes to Julian how the people who could be coming after her look like. She says they will dress strangely, like how they assume normal people dress, they also won’t eat the food Sean makes, and they’ll have scars on their back. These are very interesting tidbits! It explains Uncle George’s strange behavior. Now we know who to look out for! After watching this episode, what are your theories?
