Yellowstone season 5 release and cast updates

Yellowstone is one of the hottest shows out on television right now and even before the season 4 finale, fans were wondering if the series would be renewed for season 5. We’re happy to report Yellowstone season 5 is happening! Here are the details.

It’s been exactly one month and a day since the Yellowstone season four finale debuted and many fans were left with questions and assumptions. The hit drama series has gone far and above expectations and continues to get bigger and bigger as the series progresses.

Yellowstone season 5 is a go at Paramount Network

Yes, season 5 of Yellowstone is officially happening! TV Line broke the news, Paramount Network announced on Thursday, Feb. 3, that the hit drama series has been officially renewed for a brand new season.

There was never really any doubt about the series being renewed, but having that concrete answer that it is, gives the fans of the hit show full relief.

Season 4 left off with a pretty big cliff hanger and we now officially know that we will get some answers sooner rather than later. Additionally, not only did we receive the news that season 5 was happening but we also found out some information on two characters in the show.

Emily, who’s played by Kathryn Kelly, and Teeter, played by Jennifer Landon, were both upped to series regulars.

Yellowstone season 5 release date predictions

As of right now, we don’t have an exact premiere date for season 5. We should expect to see season 5 release towards the very end of December 2022, but the more likely release time would be January 2023.

We do know that filming is expected to start around May of 2022, so having a release date in the same year would be pushing it. Paramount will, of course, want a month or two to market their very profitable hit series.
