Where can you stream Tom Holland’s Uncharted? Is it on HBO Max?

Our favorite friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is returning to the big screen in a video game-based film. Uncharted is scheduled to hit theaters, but the real question we all wonder now is, will it be available on the small screen, big screen, or both? Here is what you need to know about the Uncharted movie.

Tom Holland had one heck of an end of 2021 and beginning of 2022 with the box office success of Spider-Man: No Way Home. The film has reached 6th all-time on the charts and it is still climbing. However, the achievement shouldn’t be looked at lightly, considering the box office has been lackluster for the most part since the pandemic’s beginning.

Holland stars as a young Nathan Drake in the prequel to the video game Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune. If you are a fan of the video game, I’ll be intrigued to hear your thoughts on the film. Let us know when you see it. Holland is teaming up with Mark Wahlberg in the movie and it should be interesting to see if this combo can bring people to the box office once again.

Video game movies don’t always have a lot of success at the box office or with the fans, so will the combo of Holland and Wahlberg change the narrative, or will the film fall in line with the rest.

Can you stream Uncharted online from home?

The short answer is, no. The film will play only in theaters and a lot of that has to do with the $120 million dollar budget. For them to break even, the film will have to make AT LEAST $450-500 million. Remember, studios only get roughly 55% of the box office cut.

With that being said, could the film be available on VOD sooner if the film doesn’t do well? Absolutely. If the film flames out fast in the box office, I could see them trying to capitalize on people trying to see it at home and making it available on VOD. We will keep you posted if anything changes.
