Is HBO’s biggest series coming to an end? Fans were excited to learn that Euphoria received a season 3 order, but quickly became worried about it being the final season. Let’s speculate!

If we’re being honest, the cast of Euphoria are either 30-years-old or getting there, so they can’t play teenagers forever. For season 3 they still can, but filming needs to start sooner than later. But a fourth season? I’m not so sure. Add to this the fact that Zendaya’s career is skyrocketing right now. The talented actress is likely going to booked with new projects, so there may be some scheduling conflicts. And Euphoria simply won’t work well without Zendaya.

In an interview with TV Line, HBO’s Chief Content Officer, Casey Bloys, was asked if season 3 is the last one. Bloys replied that he will let Sam Levinson (series creator, exec producer) and Zendaya take care of that, saying “I’m very excited about what they’ve got planned [for season 3]. So I will leave that to them.”

Will Euphoria season 3 be the final season?

Many characters, like Maddy, are 18-years-old now, so there is a possibility that we could follow them to college. The season 2 finale is what we need to carefully analyze as it will be very telling to the future of the series. Many fans are speculating that an important character will die. Right now, Fezco appears to be in danger, and Rue isn’t out of the water yet, either. Not only is Rue still recovering, but let’s not forget that Laurie has not been paid. Laurie is not going to let this one go. A big event will be happening, that’s for sure, and it will set up what we can expect to see in season 3.

At the time of this writing, there are only two episodes left this season! Euphoria season 2 episode 7 premieres on HBO and HBO Max on Sunday, Feb. 20. The season 2 finale will drop on Feb. 27. Don’t miss out!
