The Batman is in theaters this Friday, March 4, will you be watching? If you’re a new Batman fan or just haven’t been keeping up with the DC movies (who can blame you, the DCEU is all over the place), you’re likely wondering if you need to watch all other Batman movies, such as The Dark Knight, before 2022’s The BatmanAnd if that’s the case, we’re here to help!

The Batman stars Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne aka Batman, Zoe Kravitz as Selina Kyle, Paul Dano as Riddler, Colin Farrell as Penguin, Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, and others.

Currently, the movie has a Rotten Tomatoes score of 86% from critics, having screened the movie, I can promise an action-packed movie and a completely different Bruce Wayne from what we’ve seen before. And sure, at 2 hours and 56 minutes, it’s a tad long, but it works! Are there scenes they could have shaven down to cute 30 minutes? Yes! But, again, just be patient, it pays off. I already can’t wait to watch it again.

Should you watch all Batman movies before The Batman?

While I strongly suggest that you do because the Dark Knight movie series is amazing, you absolutely don’t have to watch them before this new movie. The Batman  introduces the hero perfectly to where even audiences who have never watched a Batman movie will get a sense of who he is.

The Batman hits theaters on Friday, March 4, with many cities kicking off screenings for the movie as early as March 3. When will you be watching the movie? Are you catching the movie on the big-screen or waiting for its streaming release?

Other new movies out this weekend, include Fresh (Hulu), Lucy and Desi (Prime Video), Turning Red (Disney+), Master (Prime Video), The Lost City (theaters), and more.

Next. 7 movies to watch (and 4 to skip) in March 2022. dark
