All American: Homecoming began with Simone still in a relationship with Jordan. The two have weathered every storm that’s come their way but when her spin-off series got picked up at The CW, fans began to wonder how long they could last.

The question wouldn’t have come up if Damon, the male lead of the show, didn’t have such strong chemistry with Simone. The pair didn’t exactly have a meet-cute but their banter, clear attraction, and ability to open up to one another, put them on people’s radar as a possible romance.

As their series progresses, we expect Simone and Damon to grow closer. All American: Homecoming has been flirting with the idea of them as a couple, enough for Jordan to have a problem with Damon’s position in Simone’s life.

The tension between this not quite love triangle came to ahead in episode 4, “If Only You Knew,” when Jordan paid Simone a surprise visit. Jordan’s time on campus didn’t exactly go as planned.

Are Jordan and Simone still together in All American: Homecoming?

Unfortunately, when Jordan first saw Simone, she was asleep on Damon. The two had been working on schoolwork and dozed off in the common area. While it was completely innocent, it wasn’t a good look especially when all of Simone and Damon’s friends can see there’s something going on between them and Jordan is sensing a connection as well.

While Simone and Jordan didn’t break-up over this mishap or Jordan catching Simone making eyes at Damon, we suspect the tension here is only going to rise. What was keeping Jordan from truly digging about Simone’s feelings for her friend is the fact that she thought Damon could be her cousin.

Amara laughed that idea off. Obviously, there’s something in her and Coach Turner’s past that she doesn’t want to talk about but it doesn’t involve a pregnancy. She’s not Damon’s birth mother, so Simone and Damon aren’t cousins. Still, despite this revelation, Simone’s determined to make her relationship with Jordan work.

With the two characters on separate shows, we’re not sure how long they’ll be able to pull off this long distance romance but for now they’re a couple.
