NCIS season 19 episode 15 gave us some background about Agent Parker, as well as provided us with a fun side-plot featuring Jessica Knight. The episode involved the case of a young Petty Officer, Danna Calley, who was killed, with nothing but a watch and animal organs left as evidence.

Eventually, a video taken by their victim leads them to figuring out that their suspect, Sean Doyle, was the intended target in said shooting. Doyle is the nephew of Billy Doyle, who Parker has known since childhood. They were good friends who got in trouble together, including going to juvie.

Despite Billy being involved in crime over the years, he has since reformed himself. The involvement of his nephew in their case leads him try to take care of things himself. He even goes so far as to try and bribe Jimmy into giving him the results of Sean’s autopsy when he turns up dead.

It turns out that Sean had become involved with the DEA as an informant and their newest suspect is a woman named Kat Hanna. She herself has been involved in several robberies.

NCIS season 19 episode 15 dives into Parker’s past

To clear herself of the killings, she does end up implicating herself in a robbery that was taking place at the time of the murders.

At first, it looks like Billy really was involved in Sean’s death. However, signs point to another suspect. Colin, his employee who at first, was noticeable, but was mostly in the background during the investigation. It’d be nice to say we called it, but in this case, he was so blink and you’ll miss him that he slid off the radar. The show did a good job of making you think one thing until the final reveal.

Even with all the twists, the episode did provide us with a background on Parker, who fans have still been getting to know in the wake of Gibbs’s absence.

NCIS season 19 episode 15 also saw Agent Jessica Knight struggling to find a date for a wedding. With her only other possibilities out of the running, and by those we mean McGee, Torres, and Parker, there is another option. She eventually decides to ask Jimmy to be her date.

As friends, of course, although Jimmy was rather caught off guard when he saw her in her dress. Nick and McGee even make comments about their potential to be a couple. Although with NCIS’s track record, being friends is likely a safer option. But they were still cute together!
