Jennifer Aniston shares adorably sweet throwback from Friends set for Reese Witherspoon’s birthday
Years and years before The Morning Show debuted on AppleTV+, Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon were becoming close friends on the set of Friends. As any fan knows, Aniston portrayed the lovable Rachel Green for all 10 seasons of the classic sitcom, while Witherspoon played the part of Rachel’s younger sister Jill in season 6.
Though Witherspoon admitted she turned down the chance to appear in Friends for more episodes because she was “scared,” that doesn’t mean she didn’t enjoy her time on the show. What’s more, the two actresses clearly formed a close bond and are still a duo to be reckoned with to this day.
And just in time for Witherspoon’s birthday on March 22, Aniston took to her Instagram to share a ton of love for her co-star and real-life bestie. The Murder Mystery actress shared a super throwback for the first photo in her post, showing the two stars in character on Friends. You can also see some of the other cast members in the background. What a sweet still from the show!
