We’ve officially surpassed the halfway point of the final season on This Is Us. The Big Three trilogy is now in the rearview mirror, but first, let’s talk about some of the revelations learned during Randall’s spotlight episode.

After Deja sneaks off from the cabin to visit Malik in Boston, Randall and Rebecca decide to take a road trip to pick her up. Although he’s heated, Rebecca manages to calm Randall down throughout the trip, and they even spend some quality time in a bar together.

While spending the night in a hotel, Randall shares information about a potential senate campaign in his future. The incumbent is retiring and will consider Randall to replace him. Although Rebecca encourages him to follow his dreams, Randall turns the idea down due to family issues. Rebecca then tells Randall that she chose Kate to be the executor because he would stop living his life in order to be by her side, which is something she does not want as her health deteriorates.

Upon arriving in Boston, Randall learns that Deja and Malik ended things because the situation is too complicated at this point in their lives. Randall shares encouraging words with Malik and tells him that if his relationship with Deja is meant to be, it will happen when the time is right.

After returning home, Randall changes his mind and decides to set a meeting up with the senator.

How to watch This Is Us Season 6 Episode 11

Tonight’s episode is being billed as the moment that changes everything. It’s Rebecca and Miguel’s anniversary barbeque, but the drama will surround Kate, Toby, and their son Jack.  If you remember from a previous episode, Jack’s scar came from an accident with the smoker. Will the accident occur tonight?
