Updated June 3, 2022 – Deadline reports The CW summer schedule has additional shows set to premiere in August.

The wait is nearly over for some of The CW‘s most anticipated summer premieres! If you’ve been hanging onto the edge of your seat to find out what happens next in Roswell, New Mexico or In the Dark, your time has almost come. But, unfortunately, their fourth seasons will also be their last. Legacies and Charmed will air their series finales this summer as well.

Stargirl season 3 will miss a summer debut. The season has been moved to fall and will be the lone superhero offering from The CW until the midseason when The Flash, Superman and Lois, and Gotham Knights bow in 2023.

The majority of The CW’s summer schedule is full of original series and acquisitions that have found a home on the network. Superman and Lois as well as The Flash will also be coming into the last stretch of their own seasons before their finales on June 28 and June 29, respectively.

So far, there’s only one original series premiere coming to the network in the summer and that’s Tom Swift, the Nancy Drew spin-off that’ll return viewers to the life of the billionaire tech genius in the midst of his father’s disappearance and a clash with an Illuminati-like organization.

Speaking of clashes, Killer Camp returns in August! The second season had been pulled last fall likely due to low ratings. The show being brought back for the summer is a good move for the network considering that was its original slot in the first season and it did much better there. If you watched the two episodes that did air, prepare to rewatch the season from the beginning as it won’t be picking up where it left off.

Besides Devils season 2, a financial thriller starring Patrick Dempsey, the acquisitions on deck include Freddie Highmore’s Leonardo and Bump, a teen drama about a pregnant Catholic school student.
