The Disney+ series is such a breath of fresh air as we get to see all of our favorite characters in a light that we’ve never seen before, especially as they navigate the complexities that come with growing up in an ever-changing society.
However, what also makes this reboot special is the fact that it still manages to keep the unique magic of the 2001 original series. Sugar Mama and Penny Proud are still just as hilarious as we remember them and, of course, Oscar Proud is still very much so the doting yet overprotective dad we know him to be.

Great news! According to TV Line, fans of The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder can, indeed, expect a sophomore season to come their way in the future!
Does The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder season 2 have a release date?
Season 2 is without a release date for now but should history repeat itself, viewers may be able to expect the second installment to premiere on Disney+ in February 2023. Or, perhaps the streaming service already has the second season in the works, meaning the release date could be much earlier than we expected.

What will The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder season 2 be about?
In the first season of the animated series, we saw Penny Proud go through all sorts of situations, some of which annoyed her greatly, and some that allowed her to learn life lessons such as how to truly cherish her fleeting youth. Most likely, the second season will continue to depict the roller-coaster ride that is her teenage life and show how no matter what, Penny’s family and friends have her back.
Additionally, we’re expecting Penny to meet all sorts of new people in season 2 as well, so we’re bound to get to hear even more of our favorite celebrities in the new season!
