CBS series Young Sheldon dropped a bombshell in its 100th episode, and now the show is never going to be the same again. The story is going to shift with Georgie becoming a father. That’s certainly going to effect the whole family.

In last night’s episode, “A God-Fearin’ Baptist and a Hot Trophy Husband,” Georgie comes clean to his parents and tells them he’s gotten his 29-year-old girlfriend pregnant. The eldest Cooper sibling is only 17.

His parents are, of course, shocked, but as Mary said they can’t be too mad at him because the same thing happened to George and Mary when they were dating in high school. History is now repeating itself.

The Mandy actress may be a familiar face to some, or a new one to others. So who is playing Georgie’s baby mama?

Who plays Mandy on Young Sheldon?

Young Sheldon brought on Emily Osment to play Mandy. If you’re my age, then you’ll recognize Osment from Hannah Montana. She played Lily Truscott, Miley’s best friend, on the Disney Channel original series. Her Young Sheldon character is much different!

The 30-year-old began her career as a child actress, appearing as Gerti Giggles in Spy Kids 2: The Island of Lost Dreams and Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over. As an adult, she played Gabi Diamond on the Freeform television series Young & Hungry.

We first met Mandy in this season’s eleventh episode. Georgie started a relationship with her though he’s underage and she’s an adult, unbeknownst to Mandy. It’s going to be interesting where the story goes from here.

Georgie seems to be 100% committed which is surprising and a great turn for this character. Mandy still needs to tell her parents about the news, and warns Georgie her dad will probably shoot him when he finds out.

The twins still don’t know they’re going to become an uncle and aunt, and George and Mary have differing opinions on whether the expecting parents should get married. There’s a lot to unpack ahead of the season 5 finale. Do you think we’ll meet the new baby by the end of the season?
