Barry season 3 cast: Who’s new and returning to the series?

Barry Berkman aka Barry Block

First up, we’ve got the main player, Barry Berkman aka Barry Block, portrayed by Bill Hader. Barry started as a hitman in the series who decided to pursue a different life and get into acting. Unfortunately, his dark past continues to get in the way of a “normal” life. In season 3, we’ll see Barry continue to struggle and it’s only going to get more complicated.

Monroe Fuches

Stephen Root portrays Monroe Fuches, Barry’s former friend and main employer. Barry cared for Fuches, until Fuches crossed him and ruined his chance at a normal life. Audiences quickly learn that Fuches is only in it for Fuches. He’ll start season 3 on the run after the events from season 2, but he can’t stay hidden forever.

Sally Reed

Sally (Sarah Goldberg) is an aspiring actress who meets Barry in an acting class. Sally’s main focus is becoming an actress. Meeting Barry shakes things up and the two begin to date. Many fans are not fans of the character, but I’ll tease that she has a significant purpose in season. Let’s just say Sally will be going through a roller coaster of emotions we’re not prepared for.

Katie

New character alert! Next to Sarah Goldberg in the image above, is Elsie Fisher, who plays Katie, an actress who works with Sally. Katie is sweet, kind, and very talented. But an awkward situation will have her questioning what the right thing to do is.

NoHo Hank

NoHo Hank is played by the hilarious Anthony Carrigan, a powerful member (and later leader) of the Chechen mafia, but a bit naive. Despite the business he is involved in, Hank doesn’t enjoy violence and begins to want out, but he may be in too deep.

Gene Cousineau

Henry Winkler plays Gene Cousineau, Barry and Sally’s acting coach who struck up a great friendship with Barry. Barry truly cares for Cousineau, but Fuches has seemingly made this impossible after the season 2 events.

Natalie Greer

Natalie Greer (D’Arcy Carden) returns in season 3. In the previous seasons, Natalie was another student of Gene Cousineau, but now she is more of an assistant to Sally.

Detective Mae Dunn

Sarah Burns also returns as Detective Mae Dunn and continues to try to solve the crimes that have been happening in town lately since Barry arrived.
