Outer Range, one of the weirdest series to come from Prime Video, dropped viewers into a Wyoming town just as things began to get strange.

It all starts with a hole that Royal Abbott finds on his land. It’s in the western pasture, far away from anyone who could stumble across it. The hole’s otherworldly presence, however, isn’t something that can stay under wraps for long.

The situation is worsened by a clash over land between the Abbotts and the Tillersons after Wayne Tillerson makes a play for the very stretch of property that contains the hole. Add that on top of an altercation between Trevor and Perry that goes horribly wrong and you’ve got a show where the stakes are quite high.

Still, we can’t emphasize enough that this Neo-western is as weird as they come, but it does have quite the soundtrack. Music lives in and around the vast majority of scenes, creating an atmosphere that can be as warm as the Abbotts’ kitchen in the morning or as bizarre as when “Angel of the Morning” played during a visit by Deputy Sheriff Hawk to the Tillerson ranch.

Here’s the full list of songs featured in Outer Range.
