What is Killer Cheer Mom starring Denise Richards about?

Lifetime Movie Network‘s “Don’t Mess with Mommy” event continues with the movie Killer Cheer Mom starring Denise Richards. In the film, Richards plays Amanda. She’s the new stepmom to Riley, a high school junior interested in cheerleading.

The teen wants to join the squad in the hopes that she can make some new friends. Competition, however, is stiff. There are only two spots available on the team, and Riley is one of six girls vying for a position on the team.

But, coincidences start becoming a pattern as one by one, Riley’s competition falls victim to circumstances that take them out of the running. Whether its expulsion or injury, these girls are going down like dominoes.

As the situation becomes more dire, Riley starts to wonder if her stepmom is the one sabotaging the other teens. It’s one thing to have a supportive mother, it’s another to have one willing to do anything ensure her daughter’s happiness.

Killer Cheer Mom Lifetime Movie Network release date

The movie premieres Thursday, May 12 at 8 p.m. ET on LMN. If you miss its LMN premiere, an encore showing of Killer Cheer Mom will air Friday, May 13 at 12:01 a.m. ET.
