How many episodes will Obi-Wan Kenobi have in the Disney+ limited series?

Star Wars’ fans rejoice as Obi-Wan Kenobi is set to air May 27 on Disney+. The highly anticipated return of Ewan McGregor in the title role, along with Hayden Christiansen as Darth Vader, is undoubtedly a reunion worth its weight in kyber crystals.

The excitement isn’t just from the fans, because people online have been gushing over promotional photos taken. Enter the appropriate, “Find someone who looks at you the way Ewan and Hayden look at each other” meme right here, please.

How many episodes will Obi-Wan Kenobi have in its limited series?

Obi-Wan Kenobi has already presented memorable moments in its selection of trailers, including a nasty burn (sorry, Anakin) as Uncle Owen rips into Obi-Wan. “When the time comes, he must be trained,” says Obi-Wan referring to Luke Skywalker. Unfortunately, Owen doesn’t see it the same way as he retorts, “Like you trained his father?”

Fans will get to see Obi-Wan as he attempts to hide in the shadows during the rise of the Empire as Inquisitors set out on a hunt to track down any remaining Jedi. The anticipation of this series seems at an all-time high, which means it’s great to know Disney+ will be releasing the first two episodes on the same day. The remaining four episodes will be released week-to-week. So, Disney+ has a six-episode season planned and the hope of seeing Obi-Wan succeed during such a horrible time is very much welcomed.

Does Obi-Wan have an appropriate response for Owen? Will he comes face-to-face with Darth Vader? How many Inquisitors might he battle? The possibilities seem endless and I cannot wait!
