Stranger Things season 4: Who plays Chrissy Cunningham?

It’s Stranger Things Week, nerds! And that means the highly-anticipated fourth season is so close. The wait is almost too much to bear, but we’re almost there and can’t wait to meet new characters in Stranger Things 4. 

Season 4’s nine episodes have been split into two volumes. The first half drops on Netflix on May 27 with the first seven episodes, followed by part 2 a few weeks later on July 1. The penultimate and final episodes will be released as volume 2.

The new season will be bringing us multiple new characters. One of them is Chrissy Cunningham. We don’t know much about her yet. But according to the official Stranger Things Twitter account, Chrissy is head cheerleader at Hawkins High School and the most popular girl in school. But underneath her seemingly perfect life lies a dark secret.

So who’s the actress playing this seemingly troubled teen?

Who plays Chrissy Cunningham in Stranger Things 4?

The actress taking on the new role of Chrissy Cunningham is Grace Van Dien. The 25-year-old has been in other shows like The Village and Greenhouse Academy. As for movies, she starred in films like Riding Faith and Charlie Says.

You’ll even spot her in The Binge, which starred actor Eduardo Franco. He plays another new character this season. Franco will portray Argyle, a fun-loving stoner and pizza delivery boy who becomes Jonathan’s best friend.

In season 4 we’ll also meet Chrissy’s boyfriend, Jason Carver. He is played by actor Mason Dye. His character is described as a handsome, rich athlete dating the most popular girl in school. Aka Chrissy.

It will be interesting to see how these new characters will contribute to the show. Stranger Things has introduced us to multiple newcomers in past seasons, and many of them either become fan-favorites or the ones you love to hate! And I’m excited to see what Chrissy and the others will bring to Stranger Things 4!
